I’m an experienced public speaker and event host, having spent the past decade regularly chairing book talks, speaking on panels, appearing on podcasts and TV.
I narrated the audiobooks for my non-fiction titles What Would The Spice Girls Do? and How To Break Up With Fast Fashion, and am available for audio and voiceover work.
I love the thrill of live events and am passionate about preserving them in our increasingly virtual age. Authors I have had the pleasure of chairing include Helen Fielding, Taylor Jenkins Reid, Emma Jane Unsworth, Holly Bourne, Melanie Cantor and Daisy Buchanan.
I’ve spoken at events including ALSO Festival, Taste of London and The Good Clothes Show Live, and delivered talks for clients as diverse as The Girls Day School Trust, London College of Fashion and The International Underwriters Association. My pet subjects include sustainable fashion, motherhood and the Spice Girls, but I’m happy chatting about any number of topics – just try me!
I’ve guested on a heap of podcasts including Nobody Panic, Women Are Mad, You’re Booked and five episodes of Sentimental Garbage, and have regularly appeared on national and regional radio, with highlights including Woman’s Hour and You & Yours. I’ve popped up on TV a few times too, most notably on BBC Breakfast and Ireland’s Six O’Clock Show.
If you’d like me to host an event, speak on a panel, deliver a talk or appear on your show, I’d love to chat more. Please drop me a line at lauren.bravo@gmail.com.
